イギリス、スコットランド、フランス、香港、インド──5カ国を旅した「萩庭桂太が理想とするU.Lカメラバッグ(X-PAC)」。軽量でコンパクト、防塵防滴でスーツにもカジュアルにも合う完璧なバッグにも、ひとつ「個人的な課題」があった。

それは、左肩がけを前提に設計されたバッグを、小生は右肩かけで携行し、背中に回して撮影しているということだ。大きな問題はないのだが、ショルダーベルトのつけ根に若干のテンションがかかる。

Traveling through the UK, Scotland, France, Hong Kong, and India—Keita Haginiwa’s "Ideal UL Camera Bag (X-PAC)" was field-tested to perfection. Lightweight, compact, and weather-resistant, it transitioned seamlessly from formal suits to casual field wear. Yet, a singular ergonomic challenge remained.

The original bag was optimized for a left-shoulder carry, but I prefer to wear it over my right shoulder and swing it around to my back while shooting. While it worked, it put a slight strain on the base of the shoulder strap. The "Left-Shoulder Version" was engineered specifically to solve this. With refined adjustments, the strap base now perfectly follows the natural line of the shoulder.
